Consignment Terms and Conditions

Thank you for selling your clothes with Reluv Clothing. Reluv Clothing will assess the items that you send us and determine which items are accepted/rejected and a suitable price. We will provide you with a list of items that we have accepted for sale with their expected payout price. We do not provide information on non-accepted items.

Items will be accepted on a consignment basis and you will be paid out when your item sells.

Reluv accepts women’s clothing and accessories. All items MUST have brand and size labels attached and be

• New with tags
• Like new or
• Gently used

We DO NOT accept

• Items without size or brand labels attached.
• Items with stains, dirt, excessive wear, holes, tears fading, pilling or stretching.
• Sleepwear, Lingerie, Socks, tights or Undergarments eg: bras, shape-wear, undies
• Items with odour, perfume, or pet hair.
• Items with zips or buttons missing or broken.
• Shoes with scuffs, marks, or heavy wear.
• Wedding or bridesmaids dresses
• Jewelry and hair accessories
• Genuine fur items
• Costumes and festival clothing
• Handmade items and altered clothing
• Swimwear
• Men’s and children’s clothing
• Corporate suits, work uniforms, or promotional items
• Fake or copy items or items obtained illegally.

Please review and adhere to the Reluv guidelines when sending in your items.

Reluv Clothing will determine the initial listing price for consigned items at their absolute and sole discretion.

If your clothes do not sell within 12 weeks of listing, Reluv Clothing reserves the right to reduce the listing price by up to 50%. If the item remains unsold for a total of 12 months, Reluv Clothing may either

• return it to you, or
• donate it to a charity, depending on your preference as indicated on your Consignment Agreement.

Your payout is a percentage of Reluv Clothing’s selling price. The table below outlines how we calculate the payout for your clothes. GST is deducted before calculating your payout. Please note that in accepting and selling your items, we cover the costs of assessing, photographing, listing, packing and posting these items.

Payments are made once a month and a minimum of 14 days after the date your item sells. You can indicate and amend your preferred method of payment at any time.

If a Clean Out Kit is lost during shipping you may be eligible for up to $100 coverage. This will be assessed on a case by case basis, will be based on the number of items you sell and ONLY applies if shipping is arranged through Reluv Clothing.

Reluv Clothing has a zero-tolerance policy for counterfeiting. If requested, we will help brands and government agencies working to track down the source of stolen or counterfeit items, including sharing the contact information of consignors submitting counterfeit goods. 

Reluv reserves the right to refuse accepting further clothing from consignors found to have sent us counterfeit items. 

Please ensure you complete the Reluv Consignment Agreement form before you send in your clothes. You only need to complete this form once.
